Torbjörn Kåpe is from Karlstad, Sweden, but he now lives in the village Selfoss around 50 km from Reykjavík.

Photographing has the last years become a big, and growing, interest.
He likes being out in the nature on Iceland, and in the mountains in Norway or forests in Sweden, and he mostly takes pictures of landscapes and nature.

Stokkseyri, a small town in Southern Iceland, with a population of around 530 inhabitants. Founded around 900 AD by the settler Hásteinn Atlason. It was an important fishing and trading village in previous times, and now it’s become more of a tourist attraction.”Stokkseyri town official website”. http://www.stokkseyri.is.  The town is founded on the Great Þjórsá lava.

The school is Barnaskólinn á Eyrarbakka og Stokkseyri.

The experimental Icelandic duo Riceboy Sleeps wrote a song, named after the town.
